SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION

Design/Renovate/Repeat

That has been the mantra for the last seven years here at Social Construction. But if we are being honest, the repetition is getting a little old. We believe that it is time for a new season, a new direction, and a renewed passion for the trades.

The new way forward will still retain all the aspects of what Social has been known for and what has won us some awards; attention to detail, excellent communication, cost/value transparency, and an exceptional renovation product.

What we are letting go of is the repetition, the old ways of doing renovations, the “this is how things have always been done” mentality. We will no longer offer a competitive bid, meaning that when we quote a project we are not trying to beat the lowest price for the project. We are not the most expensive, but we are also not the cheapest company in this space. When we submit your estimate it will be with the understanding and knowledge that that is the cost for the skill level and end product we can deliver to you and your home. We believe that we are not just another general contracting company taking on every project that comes our way. We have spent years refining our skills in custom interior residential renovations.

Schedule Appointment

All estimates are scheduled between 12pm-4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Estimates are good for 30 days depending on market pricing and material availability.

TESTIMONIALs

Mike did a fantastic job updating my Main Bath and Master Bath, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Mike was very professional, from start to finish. He provided a written estimate of both cost and time, started when he said he would (and finished a day early!), treated me and my home with respect while he worked (so easy to get along with!), dealt with the unexpected surprises (that always seem to crop up during a remodel) professionally and transparently, used competent and qualified subcontractors (and only when needed), and completed all of the work conscientiously (as if it were his own home).

I'm so glad that I hired Mike - he's everything you hope for in a contractor, and I'll be sure to hire him again when I have a need!

Amazing work at very reasonable costs. My project was a bit difficult with a short timeframe to surprise my wife with a bathroom remodel. Social Construction was not only able to meet the criteria for this difficult job and short time frame but they surpassed all expectations!!

My wife cried when we came back and saw the results of her new bathroom.

Highly recommend Social Construction!!!

We loved working with Social Construction Company. Mike was very thorough from beginning to end with our bathroom renovation. Mike takes his work very seriously and gets the job done the right way. I loved that he took his time and didn’t rush through the job. I appreciated how meticulous he was with even the smallest detail. He would let me know what he had finished for the day and what he would be doing the next day. Not every contractor does this, and it was nice to know what he was doing and why. He will always explain in detail and break it all down for you. He is fairly priced and does ask for a deposit to secure a spot just like any other company does.

We already booked Mike to install a barn door for us, and I look forward to hiring him again for another big project.

WHO WE ARE

MY NAME IS Mike Murphy.

I own and run Social Construction. over the last seven years I have grown increasingly more obsessed with finding new ways to execute a perfect renovation. from using new products in the market, to honing my craft and skill set, to setting the bar higher with client communication and industry education. I believe that an excellent renovation project is not just well executed skilled trades but also excellent verbal and written communication. I have always prided myself on my ability to throughly and effectively relay what will take place on a particular project, why things need to be carried out a specific way, and why the costs associated are what they are.
